Hard to believe the metro station on the left lies next to this excavation site of what was Langa Bostan (famous for cucumbers) on the right with a well in the right corner dating back to the Ottoman period. The right image will most likely be a parking lot in a few years.

That’s so true! Really a mind-bending thought that what once was a beautiful garden may soon be buried deep under everyday transportation.
